The limited edition COPO Camaro makes it's track debut this weekend at The All New Lapeer International Dragway. Bill Jennings is the proud owner of the COPO Camaro. Only 69 of these COPO Camaros are in existence. The COPO Camaro rolls off the factory floor and on to the track at The All New Lapeer International Dragway.
In a recent appearance on Michigan Business Biography, that aired on the CBS Morning News on Channel 62 Detroit, Bill Jennings spoke of the huge economic benefits Lapeer International Dragway has brought to the community of Lapeer Michigan. “Thousands of fans come here every week, said Jennings. They spend money at hotels, restaurants, gas stations and general shopping. My payroll alone is thousands of dollars monthly that is spent by families in our community. My plans for expansion are a “family vision” for camping and improvement to the property. These are positive and should be fully supported by the township and the neighborhood. What I want is for the good of our community. I am restoring a broken down property that our community will really be proud of when I am done.”
